1/2 c buttermilk
3/4 c sugar
1 cube butter
Cook in pot over med-low stove until bubbly.
Take off burner and add:
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
Stir until foamy. Pour hot over pancakes, waffles or French toast.
You can also put it on vanilla ice cream and it is yummy!

I was tempted to put this under the Weight Watchin' category as a joke, but I resisted! :-)
I wouldn't have thought to put it on ice cream! I had buttermilk syrup for the first time this Christmas and I'm a big fan!
